Wreaths of Christmas Creativity

Ho, ho, ho! Christmas 2025 is well under way at SFYC! We are launching into the festive season with a series of wreath-making workshops! Each wreath is hand-made using fresh pine tree branches, sweet smelling sage leaves and sprigs of soft spikey rosemary. Interspersed amongst the woven garlands are dotted golden beads and flashes of red tinsel - finished off with a personalised festive Father Christmas name tag!

With the red table cloth laden with sparkling bright baubles, the atmosphere was full of laughter and 'oohs and ahhs!' as the residents held up their wreaths for all to see. The activity delighted everyone and now the wreaths are ready to hang on bedroom doors along festive care home corridors. It is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas
